বিজয় স্মরণীর সেই সাতটা ম্যুরাল ভেঙে ফেলা হচ্ছে সরকারী নির্দেশে। ম্যুরালগুলোতে স্থান পেয়েছিল মুক্তিযুদ্ধ, ভাষা আন্দোলন, বাঙালীর লড়াই সংগ্রাম এবং বিজয় গাঁথা।
কারা যেন বলতো! আওয়ালীমীগ মুক্তিযুদ্ধকে কুক্ষিগত করে রেখেছিল। আওয়ামী লীগ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্পিরিটকে ধরে রেখেছিল, তার সর্বশক্তি দিয়েই।
মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্বপক্ষের শক্তির কাছেই মুক্তিযুদ্ধ, মুক্তিযুদ্ধের ইতিহাস, বাংলাদেশ নিরাপদ। বাংলাদেশবিরোধী রাজাকারের বংশধরদের হাতে নয়।
