London streets turned into a political battleground
Central London saw huge crowds gather today as supporters of Tommy Robinson took part in the “Unite the Kingdom” march.
The demonstration focused heavily on immigration, national identity, and public frustration over government policy. Protesters carrying Union flags marched through the capital while large police operations were put in place across the city.
The event happened on the same day as a major pro-Palestinian march, leading to one of the biggest policing operations London has seen in years. Around 4,000 officers were deployed, alongside drones, horses, facial recognition technology, and road closures to prevent clashes between groups.
Officials warned they would take action against hate speech or public disorder during the demonstrations. Several arrests were reported as tensions remained high throughout the day.
The protests have once again highlighted growing division in Britain over migration, national security, and freedom of protest.
As crowds filled the streets of London, the message from both sides was clear. Public anger and political tension in the UK are rising fast.
